Add a Part Sub Group

The Part Groups functionality in Assetminder is used to associate related parts.  There are both Part Groups and Part Sub-Groups.

The Part Group is the higher level, such as a part group for engine components.  The Part Sub-Groups are the items / components that make up the Parts Group.

NOTE

To complete this procedure will require user access  permission to the Administration function.

PROCEDURE

1. Click the Administrator Settings icon on the home screen.  

2. Click on JOBS AND PARTS.

3. Click on PART SUB GROUP

4. This will show the current list of PARTS SUB GROUPS. Click on NEW.

 

5. A dialogue box will open. 

6. Add the NAME

7. Select the PARTS GROUP it belongs to. 

 

8. Select the Position precedes and choose where to add the new part group in the order. 

9. Click SAVE.
