Add a Part Sub Group

Part Groups are used to group similar part types together. Grouping parts comes in useful when filtering data or running reports. Parts can be assigned to a top level group or a sub group. In this example, the engine and electronics are the top level part groups; everything else is in sub groups.

Timing belts

2. Electronics

Immobiliser

Ignition system

Electronic control unit

1. To add a new Part Sub Group, click the Administrator Settings icon on the home screen

2. Click Jobs & Parts

3. Click Part Sub Group

4. Click New Part Sub Group

5. Select the top level part group from the list of available options

6. Add the new part sub group name and click Save

7. Repeat the process for all further part sub groups
