Can I Delete a User?

Deleting data is limited in Assetminder to maintain data integrity. If the user is deleted, who did all the work? See the delete data article for more information. Rather than delete the user, the user is deactivated.

1. Drivers

1. Open the Driver record and set a leaving date. 

2. Click Save on the right and the user is inactive in the system  

2. System Administrators, 

1. Open the user profile and click on the green Active Licence button. 

2. The Button will change to red Inactive Licence. Click Save on the right and the user is now inactive in the system. 

 

3. Technicians, Fitters

1. Users like technicians, fitters cannot be set inactive in the system. The user must be deactivated on the back end. Create a tech support ticket by emailing tickets@assetminder.help outlining the user to be deactivated.
