Add a signature to a user

There are various sections in Assetminder which require a signature to be configured against a user. These include signing off Inspection approvals and clocking management.

To set up a signature, navigate to settings and users. 

Once in a user, in the top left menu, known as the burger menu, you will see the option for add and show signature. Select Add Signature.

You are looking to add a clear image of a signature on a white background. Here is what a photo of a signature written on a blank piece of paper and photographed with a phone looks like before and after slight editing to make the background white and the lines sharper. It's worth spending a moment to enhance the image, with basic edit functions, for a better signature.

You can either browse for the saved image or drag and drop. Once happy, hit the upload button and the screen will disappear.

You can view the saved signature by clicking the burger menu again and Show Signature.

Save and close.
